John and Valerie Kennedy (nee Wells) who celebrated their Diamond (60th) Wedding anniversary on 16th December 2021. They were married at Stanley Tower Church. They celebrated the occasion with friends and family in The Royal Scots Club Edinburgh on Saturday 18th December 2021..
There was a union of Stanley families on 10th October 2023 in Cyprus when Rodger Kyle's daughter Gemma married Allan and Joyce Robertson's (nee Buchan) Grandson also called Allan. Joyce has lived in Scone for many years but is a former resident of West Brougham Street in Stanley.
