This photo of the War Memorial taken by Will Stevenson on a recent visit home from Perth Western Australia.
One of Will's best mates in Australia is called William Niven and his family emigrated to Australia in the late 1800's from the Stirling area. Is anyone able to throw any light on Corporal William Niven shown on the Stanley War Memorial. He is not mentioned on the very detailed and informative page on the War Memorial compiled by Willie Wann some time ago.
