Russell Street (date
unknown)
From right to left. I think this was number 14 or 15 and at one time 2 elderly ladies lived here. I seem to remember they were sisters perhaps by the name of Robertson or McIntosh? The smaller house/bungalow was where I lived at number 13. The large house was the home of the headmaster Mr. Beaton (fancy living next to the head!). Next to the 'heads' house and not actually visible was where
Michael Kilgour lived . The building with the red corrugated iron roof was Mr
Panton's shop where my mother spent much of the housekeeping. I'm sorry but I can't date the photo but perhaps some car experts will have a date for the Volvo.
