GSM John Ferry RE who was the Parade Marshall for the 65th and final Normandy Veterans Parade at Whitehall London in June 2009. John, formally of Mill Street Stanley joined the Army in 1970 and is still serving. (When asked if he enjoyed Army life he said he might get used to it in time).
